Baby bonding doula sessions

Ultrasound experiences at Nueva Vida Doula are part of our baby bonding doula sessions. They are 100% elective, non-medical, and designed to help families connect with baby in a warm and supportive setting.
These sessions are not diagnostic, do not replace medical ultrasound care, and are not a substitute for care from your medical provider.

Does Medi-Cal cover doula services?
Doula services may be covered for eligible Medi-Cal members. Covered support may include prenatal visits, labor and birth support, and postpartum visits.
Does Nueva Vida Doula accept Partnership HealthPlan?
Yes. Nueva Vida Doula works with Partnership HealthPlan of California and can help eligible families understand how covered doula services may work.
What is the cost for a consultation?
Consultations are free. This is the best first step if you have questions about services, coverage, private pay pricing, or what kind of support you need.
What are the private pay rates?
Private pay pricing is $149 for SneakPeek, $125 for all other doula visit types, and $975 for labor and birth support. The labor and birth support package includes attendance to childbirth group classes if able to attend and one postpartum home visit.
Are baby bonding ultrasound sessions medical?
No. Ultrasound experiences through Nueva Vida Doula are 100% elective and non-medical. They are part of baby bonding doula sessions and do not replace diagnostic ultrasound care or care from a medical provider.

Baby bonding ultrasound experiences are elective, non-medical services and are not typically covered by insurance. Private pay visit pricing applies unless otherwise discussed with the office.
