These ultrasound experiences are not diagnostic medical ultrasounds. They do not replace anatomy scans, medical imaging, prenatal care, or evaluation from your doctor, midwife, clinic, or medical provider.

If you are using Medi-Cal/Partnership, our team can help you understand whether the visit may be no cost. If you are private pay, payment is due on or before the appointment.

No. Nueva Vida ultrasound visits are 100% elective, non-medical baby bonding doula sessions. They are not diagnostic and do not replace medical ultrasound care.
What is included in an ultrasound visit?
Ultrasound visits are 45 minutes and include an elective, non-medical ultrasound experience plus a single doula visit during the appointment.
Are ultrasound visits free with Medi-Cal or Partnership?
Ultrasound visits are free for pregnant people with Medi-Cal/Partnership when eligible and include a single doula visit during each ultrasound appointment.
What is the private pay cost?
Private pay doula visit pricing is $125 unless otherwise discussed with the office. Payment may be made with cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle on or before the appointment.
Can this replace my anatomy scan or medical ultrasound?
No. These visits do not replace medical imaging, anatomy scans, growth scans, prenatal care, or any evaluation ordered by your medical provider.
