What should I book first?
Most new families should start with a new client visit. It gives us a chance to understand what you need and help you choose the right next step.
Can you support me before and after birth?
Yes. Nueva Vida offers prenatal support, birth support, partner support, postpartum care, feeding guidance, baby bonding appointments, and local resource navigation.
Can Partnership HealthPlan cover doula care?
Nueva Vida Doula is contracted with Partnership HealthPlan of California. Coverage depends on eligibility and plan details, and our team can help you understand your options.
Where do you serve families?
We serve families across Humboldt County, including Eureka, Arcata, McKinleyville, Fortuna, Ferndale, Rio Dell, Trinidad, Willow Creek, and nearby North Coast communities.
Can my partner be involved?
Yes. Partner support is a major part of doula care. We help partners understand what to do, what to ask, and how to support without feeling like they have to guess.
Are baby bonding ultrasounds medical ultrasounds?
No. Baby bonding ultrasounds are keepsake appointments and do not replace medical prenatal care, diagnostic ultrasound, or advice from your medical provider.
