Jackie’s path into birth support began in 1995, when she had the opportunity to support a friend through the birthing process. Since then, she has supported births for family, friends, and community members, later becoming a certified doula in 2019. As a lifelong Humboldt resident, Jackie brings a familiar, community-rooted presence to her work and helps families prepare for labor, feel steadier during birth, and move into the newborn stage with more confidence and care.
