Birth Service Packages
Prenatal Visits
Preparing for a Birthday
Prenatal visits are a chance for a birthing mother and her support team and a doula to get to know one another. It is also an opportunity for a doula to help a growing family find resources to answer questions regarding pregnancy, upcoming labor and delivery, and postpartum concerns. The new client packet includes information about birth center questions to ask, ideas of what to pack in a bag to take for labor day, and resources to help put together a birth plan. Prenatal visits are a chance to go over that packet and also to review laboring and delivery techniques in order to better prepare you for baby's birthday.
Labor and Birth Support
Here for You
As your doula team, we provide 24 hour on-call support from 36 weeks until after the birth of your baby. Labor and delivery support include a variety of techniques presented to consider, emotional and physical support for you and the rest of your support team. We are happy to help with breastfeeding support and will visit in the days after baby's birth to check in with the new family.
Postpartum Support
Offering Support
At postpartum visits we are happy to provide any non-medical help you may request. Very often postpartum visits are a good time for new parents to have a listening and understanding ear available. We can also help provide access to resources for breastfeeding and postpartum support and are happy to help with things like Babywearing, breastfeeding holds, cloth diapering, swaddling, etc.
Childbirth Classes
Learning Together
Attend a childbirth class with your partner and other expecting parents in order to prepare for what's to come. Pick and choose your classes! Classes are in an eight week rotation and include
1. Physiology of Pregnancy and Birth
2. Physical and Mental Coping Techniques in Labor
3. Bringing Baby Home and Postpartum Self Care
4. Feeding Baby in their First Year
Bonus: Car Seat Safety (free with enrollment in any other session)
Class pricing is $250/all sessions. Gift certificates available. Cash, Check, and Credit Card accepted.

Sarah is amazing! I had a Vbac in December and she was very supportive! She helped me remember how to breathe through my contractions, held my hand, got me cold wash rags, water, snacks, and answered any questions I could think of! Sarah brought me so much peace of mind throughout my entire pregnancy and birthing experience. I had a high risk pregnancy, and Sarah blew me away with all of the resources she collected for me.... She helped my husband and me prepare for the hospital-- both our physical belongings and creating a list of things we wanted to educate ourselves on so we could advocate for ourselves. Our prenatal meetings were so helpful, as Sarah was incredibly organized while I was still suffering from pregnancy brain.
Sarah was supportive in the hospital, reminding me of the questions I told her I wanted to ask the medical staff. When my labor became active and progressed incredibly quickly, Sarah helped to keep me as calm as a contracting woman can be... and was the most amazing coach. I don't remember much from my active pushing time, but I do clearly remember Sarah's suggestions and how I noticed she helped me to be more efficient with my energy.
If I have another child, I will not hesitate to snag Sarah as my doula again.
